Our U.S. Servers: All data is stored in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
Proofing Partner (Cromex Technologies, India): Our trusted partner in India temporarily accesses transcripts and audio to verify timestamps, enabling us to offer you the best cost and fastest turnaround time. They use a secure connection, don’t keep copies, and are bound by strict confidentiality agreements. Contact us at privacy@synchronvideo.com if you prefer U.S.-only processing (at higher cost).
Google Drive: Only if you ask us to share files via Google Drive.
Advisors and Auditors: Lawyers or accountants who are legally bound to keep your data confidential.
Government: Only if required by U.S. law or to protect safety or property.

6. Where Your Data Is Stored

Your data stays in the United States on our secure servers in Minneapolis.

7. How Long We Keep Your Data

We keep your data only as long as needed:

You can set a custom deletion schedule for your account or specific jobs.
If no schedule is set, we typically preserve data at least for 90 days after job delivery.
We may delete data sooner if our servers run out of space.
You can request immediate deletion by emailing privacy@synchronvideo.com. We’ll verify your identity and delete it within 30 days.

8. How We Protect Your Data

We take security seriously:

Data is encrypted during transfer and storage.
Our servers are in a secure U.S. facility.
Only authorized staff with confidentiality agreements can access data.
We log access to files for security.
We test our systems yearly for vulnerabilities and have a plan to notify you promptly if there’s a data breach.

Under U.S. state laws like the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and Colorado Privacy Act (CPA), you can:
